Lyric Family Favorites: January 28

After spending December conducting in Europe, Music Director Enrique Mazzola is back in Chicago preparing for a busy February full of exciting performances. In just four days, on February 1, he will join General Director, President, and CEO Anthony Freud to announce the 2022/23 Season. Then, on February 5, he conducts the 2021/22 Ryan Opera Center Ensemble in Rising Stars in Concert, and the very next day he leads the Lyric Opera Orchestra with soprano Tamara Wilson and tenor Russell Thomas in Verdi Voices. We hope you’ll join us for one or all of these opportunities — plus, watch the virtual concert Sole e Amore (Sun and Love) featuring Enrique at the piano before it expires on February 21!

Then, don’t forget to sign up to watch the virtual season preview, vote for us in Chicago Reader’s Best of Chicago, and tune in for a Ryan Opera Center recital on WFMT.
