Lyric Young Professionals (LYP) is a growing group of dynamic opera lovers (age 21–45) dedicated to building the next generation of supporters for Lyric Opera of Chicago. LYP members have exclusive access to $35 Medley Series tickets.

DEAL — Discount for Educators and Administrators at Lyric — is a free program that offers $29 tickets to Chicago's dedicated community of teachers and school administrators. Sign up for email alerts to enjoy this discount program.

Lyric offers child tickets for school-age children up to age 17, priced from $20-50 for all opera performances. For more information on purchasing child tickets, our Audience Services staff is happy to assist you by phone at 312.827.5600.

(Please note: We ask that all children under 17 be accompanied by an adult. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate babes in arms or lap-sitting. Child tickets are subject to availability and not retroactive to previous purchases.)

Lyric Opera is pleased to make discount rush tickets available at 50% off three hours before curtain for performances where inventory allows. Grab a friend, co-worker, or loved one, and make it a spontaneous opera date! Tickets are available for purchase at the Lyric Opera House Box Office or online.

With Teen Arts Pass (TAP), teens (ages 13–19) can experience Lyric with $5 rush tickets! 

TAP tickets are available for purchase at the Lyric Opera House Box Office starting one hour before curtain. Must be a registered Teen Arts Pass member and show your Teen Arts Pass ID to qualify.
