Restaurants & dining

Lyric Opera of Chicago is the home of three wonderful restaurants where patrons may enjoy onsite dining before their opera performance.

The William B. and Catherine Graham Room is Lyric's luxurious home for annual contributors at the Distinguished Patron level. Enjoy innovative cuisine by Calihan Catering, an extraordinary wine list, and superb service in an exclusive setting.

Lyric is excited to announce a new dining partnership with Toasted Hospitality this season that will result in an elevated dining experience for Lyric patrons and beyond. As a part of this partnership, both of Lyric's public restaurants are undergoing renovations and are not available during the opening productions of the season.

The Florian, Lyric's third floor restaurant, will provide an elegant, prix fixe dining experience, exclusively for Lyric Opera patrons. The Pedersen Room at street level on Wacker Drive provides a window into the historic opera house, and will become an all-day coffee shop and whiskey bar focusing on chef-driven, casual, lunch and happy hours. The Pedersen will be open to the public and will provide special access for opera patrons around performance times.

Outside food and beverages may not be brought into the Lyric Opera House (bottled water is permitted), but no food or drink may be brought into the theater this season due to public health and facial mask requirements.

Additionally, there are numerous restaurants located near the Lyric Opera House for pre-opera meals or drinks. Browse the local dining list here.
