Lyric is a nonprofit

It’s true! Lyric Opera of Chicago is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. We exist to serve our community: welcoming all who wish to enjoy the transformational musical experience only opera can provide. This is our responsibility to our community and to the art form.
