We invite you to an intimate conversation with avery r. young and moderated antonio c. cuyler, ph.d. They will be joined by University of Pittsburgh’s Candace Burgess, composer Dr. Renée C. Baker, and curator Danny Dunson. Together they will explore the music of America, the legacy of the Great Migration, and how family stories, folklore, poetry, and history come together to create opera.
