Lyric Opera streams

On demand streaming of each opera title will be available approximately two weeks after the opening night of the opera, and will be available until two weeks after the production closes, so that you may watch the performance from the comfort of your own home at your convenience.

You will receive one viewing link per ticket via email. The email will come from the address noreply@stream2.app so if you do not see this email please be sure to check your spam folder.

No, you may either attend the performance in person, or watch the virtual stream performance. Each ticketholder must choose the way they wish to view their performance.

Just as with the live performance, the stream of the opera may only be viewed once, so save your link for a time when you are ready to watch the show!

You may pause the stream — or even close the viewing window — and come back to it as long as you return to the stream on the same device.

The primary ticket holder will receive a unique email with a dedicated viewing link for each ticket held, which may be forwarded to other members of your party.

We can make this happen! It’s best to call - we can transfer some of your live tickets to the virtual stream, and leave some of your tickets live, but this is best handled by phone to confirm which seat numbers will stay valid. Please call 312.827.5600.

The link that you receive will be valid only for one full viewing. If you wish to forward this link to another person to enjoy, you may do so.

Unfortunately, only ticketholders have access to view the performance, either live or through the virtual stream. If you donate your ticket for tax credit, you will not have viewing access to watch the performance.
