15th Annual International Jazz Day All-Star Global Concert

Presented by the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz in partnership with UNESCO and the Chicago Jazz Alliance.

Serving as the grand finale of the global International Jazz Day celebration, presented in partnership with UNESCO, the 15th Annual All-Star Global Concert in Chicago brings together an extraordinary lineup of more than 40 acclaimed artists for an unforgettable evening of music. Led by Chicagoans Herbie Hancock and co-artistic director, GRAMMY Award–winning vocalist Kurt Elling, the concert features artists from around the world alongside leading Chicago talent, highlighting the city’s rich jazz legacy and its enduring influence on the global stage.

Broadcast live in 4K from the iconic Lyric Opera of Chicago to audiences around the world, this milestone 15th anniversary event — recognized on the official calendars of the United Nations and UNESCO — is part of Chicago’s and Illinois’ celebrations of the 250th anniversary of the United States. It honors jazz as a uniquely American art form and a vital contribution to global culture, as well as a powerful force for peace, dialogue, and mutual understanding.

Doors open at 6:00 p.m. The concert will be broadcast live worldwide and will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. Guests are encouraged to arrive early. Late seating may be limited.


Patrons may secure a maximum of two tickets for the International Jazz Day performance. Any patron who exceeds the two-ticket limit will have all orders voided.
