It’s Time to Plan Your CYO (Create Your Own) Package!

In just a few short weeks you’ll be able to buy single tickets to Lyric’s exciting 2018/19 Season. Starting on Wednesday, June 27, you’ll have your best chance to cherry-pick the best available seats for the performances that you really want to experience. So, what’ll it be? You’ve got plenty of great choices.

Opera has a distinct way of capturing our hearts. It awakens a passion in us — setting our souls aflame through gorgeous music, gripping drama, grand settings, and stunning performances. In short, opera moves us. 

Ryan Opera Center's Singing Summer

The 2018/19 Ryan Opera Center Ensemble — 12 singers and a pianist — is comprised of six new artists and seven returning for a second or third year. They have much to do during these summer months.  

How Students Can Experience the Power of Opera

Lyric Unlimited offers many ways for your students to experience the power of opera! Whether it's seeing a live performance in the magnificent Lyric Opera House, taking a backstage tour, or experiencing opera in your neighborhood, your students will be captivated by this art form that tells stories through music, acting, dance, and exciting visual elements. 

Lyric Marquee Contest: Write a Marquee Message and Win Tickets to 2018/19!

Every day, tens of thousands of commuters walk past the beautiful Lyric Opera House on their way to and from work, and their eyes drift up to the building's signature marquees. If you've perfected messaging within Twitter's character limits or you're really good at haiku writing, then consider making your next challenge the Lyric Marquee Contest!
