September 2019 Lyric Notes

In just one month, the 65th Season kicks off with an original Lyric production of The Barber of Seville — full of artist debuts and returning favorites. But before we return to the opera house, we invite you to join us tonight for a night of music under the stars for our annual Stars of Lyric Opera at Millennium Park  Friday at 7:00 p.m.  Gates open today at 4:30 p.m. for your picnicking pleasure. We hope to see you there.

Then on Saturday join us for the return of “La Divina,” Maria Callas. Experience the seamless melding of state-of-the-art 3D hologram technology, the greatest of Callas's digitally remastered recordings, and the live Lyric Opera Orchestra in a unique, one-night-only concert experience.

This is only the beginning of what is sure to be a spectacular 2019/20 Season and we can't wait to share it with you.
