Zoe Zeniodi

Hailed as the “Ingenious Greek Maestra” and “Ms. Dynamite,” Zoe Zeniodi has performed in venues like Carnegie Hall and has been a member of the prestigious Hart Institute of Women Conductors with The Dallas Opera since 2016. Ms. Zeniodi’s work as a conductor has taken her to every continent in collaboration with artists like Stephen Hough and Lise de la Salle, and with orchestras like Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, Orchestra Wellington, Christchurch Symphony Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra of Colombia, Bogota Philharmonic, Vietnam and Tatarstan National Symphony Orchestras, Palm Beach Symphony, Tokyo Star Orchestra, Toscana Classica, South Czech Philharmonic, Bremen Philharmonic, Paris Mozart Orchestra and Brno Philharmonic, with whom she has made several recordings.

Recently, after competing at the “La Maestra” competition in Paris, she was chosen as one of the six members of the “Maestra” Academy for 2022-2024. She has also been named a Taki Alsop Fellowship Mentee for 2023. Future collaborations include engagements with Bremen Philharmonic, Santa Barbara Opera, various orchestras in Brazil, Athens Philharmonia, among others.

Ms. Zeniodi was the first female conductor with Opera Southwest, and has conducted opera and ballet at New Zealand Opera, Santa Fe Opera, Opera Queensland, Florida Grand Opera, Greek National Opera, and Onassis Cultural Center. A major interpreter of contemporary music, she has also led and recorded many world premieres. Ms. Zeniodi's leadership positions have included Principal Guest Conductor for “Asia-Europe” New Music Festival (Hanoi), Artistic Director of Thessaloniki Concert Hall, Music and Artistic Director of Broward Symphony and Alhambra Orchestras, among others.
