Mark Brandfonbrener is a member of the orchestras of Lyric Opera of Chicago and the Santa Fe Opera. A graduate of the Juilliard School and the University of Michigan, he is an active chamber musician, performing as a member of Music of the Baroque, Fulcrum Point New Music Project, and the Pintele Piano trio. A former member of the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, he performs frequently with the Chicago Symphony, Chicago Chamber Musicians and Bach Week in Evanston. He has been a guest at many music festivals including Aspen, Montepulciano, and Gstaad. His cello is a 1710 Paolo Testore.
