Lila Dufy

Soprano

The French coloratura soprano, currently lives in New York, where she is one of the eight emerging artists of the Artist Diploma in Opera Studies at The Juilliard School, after earning a master’s degree at Université de Montréal. During the summer 2021, she will take part in the Académie d’Aix-en-Provence, where she will work with Edith Wiens and conductor Duncan Ward. Her activity being mainly opera, she has performed coloratura roles such as Tytania/A Midsummer night’s dream, Eurydice/Orphée aux enfers, and the Princess, Fire, and Nightingale/L’Enfant et les sortilèges. She is also fond of concert music and makes it a substantial part of her repertoire. She performs in the USA, in Canada, and in Europe, where she sang with the Nürnberg Orchestra and is regularly invited by the Opéra of the Capitole de Toulouse.
