Kylie Kreucher
Soprano
The first-year Ryan Opera Center soprano from Novi, Michigan, recently completed her tenure as a Resident Artist at Minnesota Opera, where she made her debut as Fiordiligi/Così fan tutte. She was awarded Third Place in the Upper Midwest Region of the 2025/26 Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition, after winning the Iowa District, and earned First Place at Opera Mississippi’s John Alexander National Vocal Competition. Kreucher holds a master’s degree from the Curtis Institute of Music, where her roles included Julia/The Comet/Poppea (East Coast premiere), Countess/The Marriage of Figaro, Lišák/The Cunning Little Vixen, and Marianne Leitmetzerin in the Act II Opening of Der Rosenkavalier with the Curtis Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Yannick Nézet-Séguin. She was a two-year Lehrer Vocal Institute Fellow at the Music Academy of the West, performing Musetta/La Bohème, and a 2024 Wolf Trap Opera Studio Artist, covering Fiordiligi/Così fan tutte.
In Lyric’s 2026/27 Season, Kreucher will sing Young Babylonian//Hérodiade and Mrs. Hayes/Susannah.
