Adam Partridge
Baritone
The first-year Ryan Opera Center baritone from Jacksonville, Florida, was a 2025/26 Herndon Foundation Emerging Artist at Virginia Opera and a 2025 Gerdine Young Artist with Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, debuting as Starveling/A Midsummer Night’s Dream. A two-time Studio Artist with Wolf Trap Opera, he appeared there as Benoit and Alcindoro in La Bohème. In concert, the baritone has been featured as a soloist in Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb, Handel’s Messiah, Fauré’s Requiem, Mozart’s Great Mass in C Minor, and Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. Partridge is a 2025 Connecticut District Winner of the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition and previously received a special encouragement award from the competition’s Western Region. Additional honors include first place in the Jeannie and Stephen Foster Voice Competition and Stetson University’s Giffin Voice Competition. Partridge holds a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from Stetson University and a Master’s degree in Opera Performance from Rice University, where sang Prince Tarquinius/The Rape of Lucretia and the title roles in Eugene Onegin and Gianni Schicchi.
In Lyric’s 2026/27 Season, Partridge will sing the Marquis/La traviata.
