Opera Pass for Teens
Opera Pass for Teens is a $10 rush-ticket program for high school students designed to support their arts education by providing exposure to both the art form and the patron experience. Students learn how it works to attend a performance independently outside of a school group setting. Teens will be expected to purchase their tickets themselves and interact with box office and front-of-house staff prior to experiencing the performance.
Similar to Lyric’s standard rush tickets, Opera Pass for Teens tickets are based on availability and can only be purchased three hours prior to curtain online, and two hours before curtain at the Box Office for performances where ticket availability allows.
- Teens must purchase tickets in their name, using promo code TEENPASS2627, up to 3 hours prior to curtain.
- Teen buyers must be present to pick up tickets at will call between 2 hours to 45 minutes prior to curtain.
- Teens must show a school student or state ID to collect tickets. Tickets will not be released without teen patron and ID present. These discounted tickets are specifically offered to students, and If teen patrons are not present, tickets can then be purchased at the regular rush discount of 50% off the ticket price.

Maximum of 2 Opera Pass for Teens tickets per person which may include one adult chaperone. All rush tickets are always subject to availability and may not be available for shows that are near capacity. Opera Pass for Teens seats will not be available for Idina Menzel.
