Chicago Voices Presents: Stories and Songs of Chicago

Three unique groups. Countless original stories. You've watched it unfold. Now, in a one-night-only, culminating event, experience the captivating, fully produced, musical theater works that our finalists have created over the program's 16-week creative process.

Tellin' Tales Theatre brings laughter and poignancy to the forefront, using their personal stories of daily life in Chicago with a disability to develop deeper understanding of their community.

Harmony, Hope & Healing takes us to the streets of Chicago where the hardships of life can have devastating effects, demonstrating how they use music to bring healing to those who need it most.

The Kirin-Gornick Band connects life in Chicago today with the roots and influences of their Croatian and Serbian ancestries through the powerful music and culture handed down through generations.

  • Location: Harris Theater, 205 E Randolph St, Chicago, IL
