Lyric Opera of Chicago’s Music Director Sir Andrew Davis
marks 25th anniversary with the company this evening,
Wednesday, November 14, 2012, at the podium in his adopted city,
conducting Massenet’s Werther  

The program for tonight’s performance includes the following insert:

Since his Lyric Opera of Chicago debut 25 years ago, as of Nov. 14 Sir Andrew Davis has conducted 483 performances of 46 operas by 17 composers at Lyric Opera of Chicago, including six company premieres. He also played organ in a 2008-09 Subscriber Appreciation Concert that featured the Lyric Opera Chorus.
