Tenor Brandon Jovanovich will blow you away

Brandon Jovanovich is simply the most versatile tenor performing internationally. Luckily for Lyric, he's here in four widely contrasting roles this spring! (Lucky for Brandon, too, as he lives in the area and gets to spend some time at home with his family!)

Lyric introduces BLUE to Chicago

In June, Lyric will present the Chicago premiere of Blue, by composer Jeanine Tesori and librettist Tazewell Thompson. Lyric is planning an array of community programs to bring audiences further into issues that are central to this extraordinary new opera, which focuses on the senseless violence affecting one African American family.

Norm Lewis and Faith Prince to star in 42ND STREET

Norm Lewis and Faith Prince will make their Lyric debuts in the roles of famed Broadway director Julian Marsh and Dorothy Brock, the seasoned diva who sees her star status eclipsed by a rising newcomer.
