Journey Into the Heart of Opera
Explore the complexity of opera production behind the curtain of Lyric Opera of Chicago. Your two-and-a-half-hour, 10-stop walking tour will be guided by professional staff and trained volunteers, and will be full of interesting discussions and demonstrations by experts in various staging areas. Explore everywhere from makeup and wardrobe, props and scenery, to the orchestra pit! Three dates only: February 12, March 12, and April 2, 2017.
