Lyric’s New RING Will be Here in Less Than a Year — Now is the Time to Secure Your Full Cycle Experience

Lyric’s new Ring is a hot ticket! Ringheads and neophytes alike from around the world will converge in Chicago next spring for the exhilarating, immersive experience of the four-part cycle, which unfolds as a musically and dramatically thrilling journey.

If you've never taken the plunge into a full week of all things Ring...this is truly a bucket-list experience not to be missed. And if this is your fifth, or fifteenth, or fiftieth Ring...well, you know what we’re talking about.

Lyric’s Ring cycle will be performed three times over the course of three weeks, April 13 through May 3, 2020. It’s binge-watching in its original form — as a communal live-performance happening shared with 3,500 others. It’s a splendid opportunity to leave the real world behind and lose yourself in an unforgettable story.

Richard Wagner’s magnificent music propels the sprawling tale of gods and heroes, greed and jealousy, dwarves and dragons, fierce power struggles, forbidden love, desperate betrayal and revenge, the end of the world, and the magical gold at the center of it all. Recurring musical themes intertwine and unravel, connecting the characters and hinting at plot twists to come.

In addition to Lyric’s Ring cycle performances, a full slate of illuminating talks, tours, tastings, comedy, recitals, and other ancillary activities will be available during each cycle. You can reserve an all-access pass or customize your choice of between-performance enhancements.

Until recently, tickets for the three full cycles were available only to Lyric subscribers, to groups, and to those who joined Lyric’s Valhalla Circle of donors to secure premier seating and other exclusive benefits.

Now everyone can access Lyric’s Ring cycle packages for as little as $236 for all four music dramas, as Wagner preferred to call them.

An extraordinary story told over the journey of four operas. Together, they comprise Wagner's magnificent Ring cycle, one of the greatest musical achievements in Western culture and an immersive operatic adventure that every opera lover should experience.
