Rigoletto

Welcome to Lyric Notes, Lyric Opera of Chicago's eNewsletter!

For Lyric, September always means the end of summer, and the beginning of a new season. The 63rd season opens with the highly anticipated new production of Orphée et Eurydice, the first Lyric production to feature The Joffrey Ballet. Rigoletto follows, starting on October 7, with Quinn Kelsey and Matthew Polenzani returning to Lyric. Once you've read about what to expect on stage in the upcoming months, join us on September 8 for "Stars of Lyric Opera at Millennium Park" and September 10 at the Harris Theater to experience Chicago Voices: Community Created Performances — both of which are free events.

We look forward to welcoming you back to Lyric!
