Join us for the Opera Insider Series with music historian and opera expert David Buch. Each session discusses a work’s creation, composer, as well as musical and dramatic highlights. You’ll also get behind-the-scenes details about every production from a guest from Lyric’s Technical Department. Be the first to know about this season's set and costume design, interpretation, stagecraft, and more.

David Buch, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus, is a music historian whose expertise ranges from the 17th through the mid 20th centuries, particularly Mozart, opera, and the Baroque. He’s known to Lyric audiences for his popular pre-opera talks on Mozart operas.
