Emily Price

Emily Price is a versatile, classically trained mezzo-soprano based in Chicago. She has cherished her longtime association with the Lyric Opera Chorus, where she made her debut in the 2006 production of Turandot. A graduate of Northwestern University, she is also a regular member of the innovative and musically diverse ensemble Chicago A Cappella, the Grant Park Music Festival Chorus, and the Chicago Symphony Chorus.
On the international stage, Emily has appeared as a soloist with the Voices of Bahá International Choir, performing in more than 35 countries at renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Vienna Konzerthaus, and the National Theaters of Spain, Catalonia, and India. She has also collaborated with leading orchestras including the Czech National Symphony, Budapest Symphony Orchestra, and Warsaw Philharmonic.
In musical theater, Emily’s favorite roles include the premiere of RESPECT! A Musical Journey of Women (Cuillo Center/CCPA) and Rona in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Drury Lane Watertower). Her recordings include The Voices of Bahá at Carnegie Hall, RESPECT! The Original Cast Album, and two Chicago A Cappella albums — American Anthem (2019) and Miracle of Miracles: Music for Hanukkah (2023).
