What is a Podcast?
A podcast is an episodic program delivered via the Internet using a protocol called RSS. Podcasts can include audio, video or other documents, and can be subscribed to using popular music programs like iTunes, an RSS reader or with popular web browsers such as Firefox and Internet Explorer.
What is an RSS Feed?
Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is a format for the distribution and syndication of content. You can store a link to an RSS feed to be automatically notified of updates to the content in this podcast.
There are a number of ways to access RSS feeds. You can install a news reader that displays RSS feeds from the Web sites you select, enabling you to view hundreds of headlines at once. In addition, most newer web browsers offer the ability to subscribe directly to RSS feeds.
