required dress for all ushers; this requirement may be waived for the first 10 performances, during which time a white dress shirt, black jacket/slacks or
skirt, bow tie, and black dress shoes would be allowed; Lyric is aware of
discount sources for tuxedo purchase.
• Usher jobs are
union-contracted positions; employees are required to join the Service Employees
International Union, Local 1, and while no membership fees are applicable,
$2.20 per performance is owed as dues to the union.
