A poignant theatrical experience, Cruzar la Cara de la Luna is filled with the passionate musical storytelling that is integral to both mariachi and opera. The story follows three generations of one family, divided by countries and cultures. When a long-buried secret is revealed, members of the Velásquez family must travel physically and spiritually between Mexico and the U.S.A., looking deep into their hearts before discovering where they truly belong.
“A stunning and emotional work.” Houston Chronicle
