Ticket exchanges, trades, and donations

We understand that conflicts can arise. If your schedule changes and you are no longer able to attend a performance, flexibility is yours! You may exchange your tickets for another performance of the same opera or musical, trade into a different opera, or make a tax-deductible donation by returning your tickets to Lyric.

To exchange or trade your tickets, log in to your Lyric Opera account and navigate to the "my calendar" tab. Find the performance you'd like to exchange and choose "exchange" from the options below. If you prefer to speak to a representative, you can call our Audience Services department at 312.827.5600 with the tickets you wish to exchange in hand, alternate performance dates in mind, and your credit card information (if applicable).

In the event of a canceled performance, the value of your tickets will be held on your account and can be used for future performances.
