Flexibility and Options for Subscribers
For 8-Opera Subscribers!
No exchange fee! *8–opera subscribers may exchange their subscription tickets for another date of the same opera with no fee! We complete virtually all of our subscribers' exchange requests!

For 7, 6, 5, or 4-opera series!
Customize your series with our TRADEONESM option! **Should you wish, you may TRADEONE of the operas in your series for another 08/09 opera that is not part of your series (same seating section).
If you decide to TRADEONE, you must do so when you subscribe. There is a $9 per-ticket TRADEONE fee, payable at the time of your order. An additional $12 per-ticket upgrade fee applies if you trade from a weekday (Mon–Thurs) to a weekend (Fri–Sun).
**Subject to availability. Section and/or Benefit upgrades additional. Comparable seat locations will be assigned when possible. If you TRADEONE from a weekend performance to a weekday performance, or to a lower-priced section, we regret we cannot refund the difference. The TRADEONE option ends July 1, 2008. Your fully paid subscription and TRADEONE tickets will be mailed around Labor Day.

Easy Date Exchanges!Schedule change? No problem! Date exchanges for the same opera are available by mail or fax as soon as you receive your subscription tickets. Phone exchanges begin October 15. No fee for 8-opera subscribers!* $4 per-ticket fee for 7, 6, 5, & 4-opera subscribers.
Exchanges must be made at least 7 days prior to your scheduled performance date. Comparable seat locations will be assigned when possible. Subject to availability. Exchanges are not permitted for non-subscription tickets.

Priority & Access
Last year, our 34,000 subscribers took more than 200,000 of the best seat locations in the house — individual-ticket buyers got the leftovers! Only subscribers saw La traviata with Renée Fleming in January — and they were able to order additional single tickets. (Thousands of would-be single-ticket buyers were turned away.) Subscribers get first priority and a 50% discount for the Subscriber Appreciation Concert: Holly and Ivy, a joyous celebration of seasonal music starring the Lyric Opera Chorus on December 14, 2008. Subscribers also receive priority for special events including the Opera Ball, Backstage Tours, and Wine Auction 2009.
