Lyric Opera welcomes high school and college students!
Experience a Tennessee Williams classic in a whole new way! In this operatic retelling of the famous play, the Lyric Opera Orchestra shares the stage with a dynamic cast that includes Beverly O'Regan Thiele, Kiera Duffy, David Adam Moore, and Scott Ramsay.
The story follows the troubled Blanche DuBois as she arrives in New Orleans to visit her sister Stella. She romances Mitch, a shy friend of her brother-in-law, Stanley. But tensions rise between Stanley and Blanche - especially after he discovers dark secrets from her past that cause her relationship with Mitch to shatter.
This semi-staged performance featuring the alternate cast is offered for one night only!
