Summer : June – August
Provide administrative support to the department working primarily with the Visa Coordinator. The intern will work with others throughout the Operations Department as dictated by the needs of the department.
The intern will assist with:
- Artist research and assembly of visa application materials to be submitted to the Department of Homeland Security
- Other clerical duties and special projects as assigned
Required Knowledge and Skills: Successful applicants must be detail oriented, have excellent organizational skills, and be able to prioritize multiple tasks effectively. Strong oral and written communication skills are a must, as is proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access, and online research strategies. The ability to comply with strict confidentiality procedures and exercise appropriate tact and judgment in managing personal artist information is required. Knowledge of French, German, and/or Italian would be helpful but not required. Interest and/or experience in arts administration is preferred.
