Student Backstage Tours
Grades: 3 – 12
Available: October 2012 – May 2013, 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Fee: $6 per person
Duration: each tour lasts approximately 80 minutes
Tour Groups: at least 12 people are needed to book a tour group, 1 to 2 chaperones per group are required

Witness the inner workings of the Civic Opera House and learn what really goes on behind the scenes of a world-class opera company. Students see the house, stage, and dressing rooms; visit the wig and wardrobe departments; view an interactive props display; venture across a six-story-high catwalk; and even try on authentic costumes and armor.
