Senior Matinee
Each season's Senior Matinee enables underserved Chicago seniors to attend a selected Lyric Opera dress rehearsal at no cost. Two thousand tickets are distributed by the Chicago Department of Senior Services. Large-print study guides on the opera are distributed in advance to senior centers. The Senior Matinee for 2010-11 was October 11, 2010. Seniors interested in attending the 2011-12 Senior Matinee can contact the Chicago Dept. of Family Support Services beginning in June, 2011, at 312.746.5682.
