Senior Matinee

Senior Matinee ImageEach season's Senior Matinee enables underserved Chicago seniors to attend a selected Lyric Opera dress rehearsal at no cost. Two thousand tickets are distributed through a lottery held by the Chicago Department of Senior Services, which also provides affordable transportation. Large-print study guides on the opera are distributed in advance to senior centers. Free refreshments are provided at intermission. Interested seniors can contact The Chicago Dept. of Family Support Services at 312.746.8544.
