Information for 2012/13 OperaKids coming soon.

Grades: 3 – 6
Available: September 2011 – June 2012
Fee: $1575 for non-Chicago Public Schools; free for Chicago Public Schools

Children are immersed in the arts through a fifteen-week residency led by a Lyric Opera teaching artist in partnership with a classroom teacher.  Students learn to express themselves creatively by studying music and drama and performing an original work adapted from children's stories.  A professional development workshop will be held for participating teachers and teaching artists.
