Lyric Opera's 55th Season begins with an Opening Night celebration to remember!

Tickets are now on sale for the opening night performance of Giacomo Puccini's Tosca starring Deborah Voigt as Tosca, Vladimir Galouzine as Cavaradossi, and James Morris as Scarpia. go.

Opera in the Classroom ImageOpera in the Classroom introduces children to opera through five visits to a classroom by a member of the Lyric Opera Education Corps. Through the study of a specific opera students learn opera essentials and basic listening skills. The grand finale is a lively workshop performance by students. Gaetano Donizetti's The Elixir of Love is the featured opera for the 2009/10 academic year.
