Meet the Artist ImageMeet the Artist encourages young, school-assembly audiences to pursue their own dreams and develop their own talents. How? By introducing them to a successful young professional singer who shares his or her own inspiring personal story. With piano accompaniment and easygoing commentary, the singer also demonstrates a variety of musical styles from pop and spirituals to operatic arias. Misconceptions about what opera is and what opera singers look like are cheerfully dispelled!
