College Opera Circle
Dress rehearsal dates: November 12, 2010, February 7, 2011, and March 2, 2011 - Fee: $550 per application
College Opera Circle enhances the learning experience of fulltime, degree-seeking undergraduates and graduate students by enabling them to attend three dress rehearsals of Lyric productions each season. Participating colleges and universities (which pay an annual fee to participate) receive study materials and free lectures (on campus or pre-performance) by request. Up to 50 students per application from member colleges or universities may attend each dress rehearsal. 2010-11 Operas are: A Masked Ball by Giuseppe Verdi, Lohengrin by Richard Wagner, and Hercules by George Frideric Handel.
