Lyric's community-engagement programs enrich the opera experience for life-long aficionados, first timers, and everyone in between. They also touch many Chicagoans who would otherwise be unable to share in the magic of opera.
A variety of lecture and discussion events held throughout the Chicago area provide opportunities to learn about unfamiliar works, gain new insights on old favorites, and hear the ideas and opinions of the artists involved.
