As a new season launches, Lyric Opera wants to shine a spotlight on the NExT generation of opera lovers!
This is your chance to be featured in Lyric Opera's program book, and to win a prime pair of tickets to the Lyric Opera production of your choice! Here's how to enter:
1) Send an e-mail to NEXT@lyricopera.org telling us, in 100 words or less, why you love opera.
2) If your entry is selected, we will invite you to be a part of a group of six students to participate in a group discussion about opera on Saturday, October 26 from 11am-1pm. Following the interview, you will be photographed backstage at the opera.
3) The interview and photos will become part of an article on opera's NExT program, and be featured in program books for The Barber of Seville, Rusalka, and La Clemenza di Tito in Spring 2014! As a thank you for your participation, you'll receive a pair of tickets for the weekday evening performance of your choice!
E-mail your submission to NEXT@lyricopera.org by tomorrow at midnight!
Important: You must be an active member of NExT to apply, so if you have not yet reactivated your account for the 2013/14 Season, click here to do so now—and remember to tell your friends how to get great seats to the opera for $20 by joining NExT!
You must also be available on Saturday, October 26 from 11am-1pm in order to be selected as a winner—participation in the discussion and photography shoot are required. By entering in this competition, you are consenting to allow Lyric Opera to feature your feedback and photo in the house program book and other promotional materials related to NExT. Thank you for being a part of Lyric Opera of Chicago!
