Singers and instrumentalists wishing to receive audition information from Lyric Opera of Chicago or The Patrick G. and Shirley W. Ryan Opera Center may contact the appropriate administrators as follows:
Solo Artists
Lyric grants auditions for principal roles to professional opera singers on an invitation-only basis. The artist's management should contact Lyric's associate artistic administrator or email soloaud@lyricopera.org with requests for an audition.

Chorus
The Lyric Opera Chorus is a professional ensemble of approximately 48 full-time members. Classically trained singers in all voice categories who are prepared for a professional career should apply. Applicants are required to prove that they are a United States citizen, permanent resident, or have legal permission to work in the United States.
Lyric Opera of Chicago will hold auditions in March for experienced, classically trained singers in all voice categories who seek positions in the company’s choral ensemble for the 2012-2013 season. Ballet Auditions
