Wine Auction 2012
The Lyric Opera Women's Board presents its 10th Lyric Opera Wine Auction on February 10, 2012. This spectacular event will take place on the stage of the Ardis Krainik Theater and features the best wines of the world, one-of-a-kind travel experiences, premier luxury items, and dining opportunities from Chicago's top chefs!
Together with Honored Guest, Richard Geoffroy, chef de cave of Dom Pérignon, we celebrate 25 years of raising funds to support the grand opera seen and heard at Lyric Opera of Chicago. Join us online to bid on fine wines and exclusive premiums. Online bidding begins mid-December 2011 and will be hosted by the world's leading wine auction house, Hart Davis Hart Wine Co.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped make Wine Auction 2009 an absolute success! The auction raised an unprecedented $1.2 million in proceeds, owing to an astounding array of 233 auction lots, consisting of 1,067 fine wines, as well as several highly desirable travel packages, fine-dining experiences, and luxury items.
