Held on Saturday, April 13, 2013, Rising Stars in Concert features arias and ensembles performed by Ryan Opera Center singers with members of the Lyric Opera Orchestra conducted by Ward Stare. Since its inception in 1974, the Ryan Opera Center has been recognized as one of the premier programs of its kind in the world. Ensemble members gain valuable experience by participating in mainstage season performances, recitals, and concerts like Rising Stars in Concert. A testament to the Ryan Opera Center's caliber and success is the roster of distinguished alumni who perform regularly on the stages of leading international opera houses. Rising Stars in Concert is an incredible opportunity to hear these perfomers as they make their way to the top of the opera world!
